THERE is a queasy feeling in my soul. For fifteen years, I have written about a coming Global Revolution, of When Communism Returns and the encroaching Hour of Lawlessness that is being fomented by the subtle but powerful censorship through Political Correctness. I have shared both interior words I have received in prayer as well as, far more importantly, the words of the pontiffs and Our Lady that sometimes span centuries. They warn of a coming revolution that would seek to overthrow the entire present order:
No longer making any secret of their purposes, they are now boldly rising up against God Himself …that which is their ultimate purpose forces itself into view—namely, the utter overthrow of that whole religious and political order of the world which the Christian teaching has produced, and the substitution of a new state of things in accordance with their ideas, of which the foundations and laws shall be drawn from mere naturalism. —POPE LEO XIII, Humanum Genus, Encyclical on Freemasonry, n.10, Apri 20thl, 1884
Even though I’ve written of these things for many years, I am nonetheless disturbed as I watch souls blindly fall into deception. For all of a sudden, the pieces are rapidly coming together in a sobering picture. We are, it seems, on the very cusp of a radical destabilization of the entire world, including the Church—an upheaval the likes of which mankind has never known. Indeed, the motto of that secret society of Freemasons driving much of what we see today is Ordo ab chaos: “Order out of chaos.” Sometimes, we can only understand prophecy in hindsight once events have happened. I believe such is the case now as we glimpse what is behind the present global revolution…
GLOBAL WARMING: SAVING THE PLANET?
The Antichrist will fool many people because he will be viewed as a humanitarian with a fascinating personality, who espouses vegetarianism, pacifism, human rights and environmentalism. —Cardinal Biffi, London Times, Friday, March 10, 2000, referring to a portrait of the Antichrist in Vladimir Soloviev’s book, War, Progress and the End of History
There is no question that mankind is harming the planet. In The Great Poisoning, I went into vast detail regarding the literal poisoning of the earth and all its inhabitants. But here’s the terrible irony in all of this: it’s apparently not the cocktails of pharmaceutical drugs, the coatings on our cookware, the poisons we spray on our crops, the aerosols we release in the atmosphere, the chemicals in our food, vaccines, makeup, water or a hundred other things we ingest or breath daily that is the problem—these, we’re told, have been deemed “safe” by our government panels.
No, the real demon is “global warming.” The claim has been made that mankind is, in fact, “poisoning” the planet with CO2 and that we only have about 12 years to go before the world ends (never mind that such apocalyptic scenarios have failed dozens and dozens of times). But carbon dioxide is not only not a pollutant, it’s necessary for plant life—it’s plant food. The higher the levels of CO2, the more the planet thrives. It is a historical fact that when the planet has cooled, growing periods were reduced, food supplies worsened, diseases increased and nations were thrown into instability (and the correlation between CO2 and warming, or lack thereof, has never been substantiated either, given other more crucial factors such as solar energy, ocean currents, etc.). As climate change scientist and researcher Tomas Sheahen explains:
It is a major mistake to conflate climate change with pollution. They’re two entirely different matters. We do not know how to control the climate, but we do know how to control pollution. —October 12th, 2016; LifeSiteNews.com
Yet, we have been told that there is a “scientific consensus” that the planet is warming due to anthropogenic (man-made) causes. The problem, however, is not only that several experts in the field of climatology refute this so-called consensus, but they are being excluded by the mainstream media and even the Vatican Pontifical Academy of Sciences from presenting their scientific knowledge. Such censorship is the very antithesis of science; to question facts and hypotheses is the very nature and foundation of scientific inquiry. The present climate is, in fact, anti-science, which actually exposes a spiritual dimension. As St. Paul said:
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Corinthians 3:17)
The same spirit that is shutting down debate regarding the true nature of marriage, the unborn, gender, etc. is the same lying spirit at work now. For as I have detailed in several articles (see Related Reading below), the “science” being fed to schoolchildren and the public via the mainstream media has been found to be manipulated and mangled by errant computer models, deleted data sets, or outright falsification of the facts (ie. “Climategate”). It would be laughable were it not for the grave consequences this has for the future, as I will explain in a moment. It is absolutely stunning that hundreds if not thousands of serious and credible voices in the field of climate science are not only being ignored but silenced. Here are but a few:
• Dr. Mototaka Nakamura is a renowned computer climate modeller. In June 2019, he published “Confessions of a climate scientist: the global warming hypothesis is an unproven hypothesis.” In it, he explains how computer models (the very ones being used right now as a basis for predicting global warming) are terribly inaccurate at making predictions for a number of reasons, and cannot be considered reliable. Remarkably, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that is driving the “global warming” agenda, stated in their third report:
In climate research and modelling, we should recognize that we are dealing with a coupled non-linear chaotic system, and therefore that the long-term prediction of future climate states is not possible. [(Chapter 14, Section 14.2.2.2. )]
• Dr. Patrick Michaels, former Virginia State Climatologist, stated:
It is nowhere near as warm as it’s ‘supposed’ to be. The computer models are making systematic, dramatic errors. —broadcast with host Mark Levine
• In 2000, NASA published the work of Serbian astrophysicist Milutin Milankovitch (but has since “archived” it) and what has become known as the “Milankovitch cycles.” He is best known, NASA notes, “for developing one of the most significant theories relating Earth motions and long-term climate change.” The shape of the Earth’s orbit changes from being elliptical (high eccentricity) to being nearly circular (low eccentricity) in a cycle that takes between 90,000 and 100,000 years. His theories were later proven to be true:
…in 1976, a study published in the journal Science examined deep-sea sediment cores and found that Milankovitch’s theory did in fact correspond to periods of climate change… Since this study, the National Research Council of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences has embraced the Milankovitch Cycle model. —NASA, March 24th, 2000; earthobservatory.nasa.gov
• Dr. Fred Singer is an expert in remote sensing measurements, having served as founding director of the U.S. Weather Satellite Service, vice-chair of the U.S. National Advisory Committee on Oceans and Atmosphere, deputy assistant administrator for policy at the EPA, and as a reviewer for several of the IPCC reports. He firmly refutes the connection Al Gore and his disciples have asserted that fossil fuel activity is going to cause coastlines to flood:
Let’s understand that the world’s mean temperatures have been rising at a pretty constant rate of about one degree Fahrenheit (0.6oC) over the past 100 years, and are likely to continue, although with both warmer and cooler fluctuations, for many hundreds of years into the future. Over each of the past several centuries, including the last one, sea levels rose by about 7 inches (18 cm). Accordingly, neither the overall warming trend or sea level rise began with the fossil-burning Industrial Revolution… nor have they changed in any detectable way due to human influences. And we can’t even really know that the second follows the first. Sea levels rose during the Little Ice Age from about 1400-1859 AD… a period which was considerably colder than now. —September 24th, 2013, Forbes.com
• Dr. James P. Wallace III, Dr. John R. Christy, and Dr. Joseph S. D’Aleo’s peer-reviewed study revealed that when accounting for El Ninos and La Ninas, which are “the fluctuations in temperature between the ocean and atmosphere in the east-central Equatorial Pacific” that “occur on average every two to seven years,” there has been a flat-line temperature trend since 1997. No warming. Indeed, as the U.S. Chairman of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology noted in The Washington Times, The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is deliberately leaving out crucial satellite data from its climate projections.
Atmospheric satellite data, considered by many to be the most objective, has clearly showed no warming for the past two decades. This fact is well documented, but has been embarrassing for an administration determined to push through costly environmental regulations. —Lamar Smith, The Washington Times, Nov. 26th, 2015
• Canadian scientists as well as the 2016 Scientific Working Group found that polar bears are not in decline and that their populations are either stable or increasing.
• In an open letter to the United Nations, more than 500 prominent scientists from all over the world, including distinguished MIT Professor Emeritus of Atmospheric Sciences, Richard Lindzen, are urging the Secretary-General of the United Nations to engage a less political and more scientific debate of “global warming.” In the letter, they note that present climate policy relies on inadequate models, that global warming has not increased natural disasters and that CO2 is not a pollutant. The undersigned state:
...it is cruel as well as imprudent to advocate the squandering of trillions on the basis of results from such immature models. Current climate policies pointlessly, grievously undermine the economic system, putting lives at risk in countries denied access to affordable, continuous electrical power. —September 24th, 2019; cf. climategate.nl, breitbart.com
GLOBAL WARMING: CATALYST OF REVOLUTION
There is something far more insidious than merely quashing scientific data and debate. The fact is that “global warming” (whether man-made or not) is being used to spark a revolution to overturn the present order, particularly the economic order. In a word, it is being used to deconstruct the free market system and impose socialistic principles of wealth redistribution, ie. Communism… not to mention, an excuse to reduce the population of the planet.
In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself. —Alexander King & Bertrand Schneider (on the agenda of The Club of Rome), The First Global Revolution, p. 75, 1993
It’s worth noting that, if the political Left has an agenda, so does the political Right. The hegemony of major oil companies, backed by neo-conservatives, has been preserved at an unspeakable cost—from global wars to the prevention of new technologies that would provide low-cost or even free energy to the world. To be certain, the present system is corrupt; the present structure of a grossly inflated cost of living is enslaving and suppressing billions.[1]cf. Capitalism and the Beast That said, the proposed wholesale elimination of fossil fuels at this time would have drastic consequences on the poor. A surprising critic of anthropogenic global warming is Dr. Patrick Moore, co-founder of the environmental group Greenpeace.
We do not have any scientific proof that we are the cause of the global warming that has occurred in the last 200 years… The alarmism is driving us through scare tactics to adopt energy policies that are going to create a huge amount of energy poverty among the poor people. It’s not good for people and it’s not good for the environment… In a warmer world we can produce more food. —Fox Business News with Stewart Varney, January 2011; Forbes.com
But Dr. Moore really nails the most insidious aspect of this climate revolution:
…the Left sees climate change as a perfect means to redistribute wealth from industrial countries to the developing world and the UN bureaucracy. —Dr. Patrick Moore, P.h.d., co-founder of Greenpeace; “Why I am a Climate Change Skeptic”, March 20th, 2015; new.hearttland.org
There you have it. This is where suddenly all the pieces of the puzzle start coming together… the warnings of the Popes against Freemasonry and socialism… the warnings of Our Lady about the spread of Russia’s errors (Marxism, etc.)… the warnings in the Book of Revelation of a “beast” that rises to impose an economic system on all through which alone they can “buy and sell”… These are warnings against the spread of Global Communism. And for those who forget, Communism is the political ideology that the State, not free enterprise, is the one to redistribute the wealth and make everyone “equal.” This ultimately leads to the confiscation of private property and goods and the elimination of anyone who stands in the way.
Communism, then, is coming back again on the Western world, because something died in the Western world—namely, the strong faith of men in the God that made them. —Servant of God Archbishop Fulton Sheen, “Communism in America”, cf. youtube.com
But don’t take my word for it. Here’s what those behind the global warming movement have said in stunning admissions to their motives:
…one has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. Instead, climate change policy is about how we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth… —Ottmar Edenhofer, IPCC, dailysignal.com, November 19th, 2011
Chief Climate Change official of the United Nations, Christine Figueres, stated:
This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years—since the industrial revolution. —November 30th, 2015; unric.org
The United Nations Climate Change website reads:
The Paris Agreement requires all Parties to put forward their best efforts through “nationally determined contributions”… —unfccc.int
And again:
The impacts of climate change are increasingly hard to ignore. We require deep transformations of our economies and societies. —Patricia Espinosa, current UNFCCC Executive Secretary, December 3rd, 2018
It is noteworthy to point out that the radical socialist arm of the Democratic Party in the United States, headed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, has also revealed their ulterior motives. Her chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, said earlier this year in a meeting with Sam Ricketts, climate director for Washington Gov. Jay Inslee:
The interesting thing about the Green New Deal, is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all. Do you guys think of it as a climate thing? Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.
To which Rickett’s replied:
I think it’s… dual. It is both rising to the challenge that is existential around climate and it is building an economy that contains more prosperity. More sustainability in that prosperity — and more broadly shared prosperity, equitability and justice throughout. —July 10th, 2019, washingtonpost.com (my emphasis)
This is Communism without the jackboots, at least for now. It goes under many titles such as you just read, not the least the code words used by the United Nations: “sustainable development.” Greta Thunberg, the young climate activist who has grabbed headlines with her fiery speech, has become the poster child for the UN and the growing army of revolutionaries striking from their classrooms. She is also the face of children increasingly terrorized (and used) by the propagandists who claim a “climate emergency” or “climate disaster” is at hand. On the one hand, she makes a valid point from her carefully prepared script that there is a wrong-headed focus on profit-over-people by those in power.
…all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you! —September 23rd, 2019; Yahoo.com
Unfortunately, Greta has bought the ideological solutions being promoted by the United Nations, solutions that continue to get more radical by the day (such as banning cattle herds or even punishing anyone who eats meat with the crime of “ecocide“). She does not realize that what she is demanding will ultimately result in the enslavement of her generation. How I would have preferred to hear Greta say:
How dare you alter the climate statistics and manipulate the data in order to impose a carbon tax on the poor! How dare you try to slide Climategate past my generation and use “global warming” to impose a socialist agenda! How dare you threaten my generation with apocalyptic scenarios to scare them, make them anxious, and brainwash them into accepting the reordering of the economy into a communist system. How dare you!!
PAPAL BLESSING
Which is why all of this becomes so very painful when we hear Pope Francis not only embracing without reserve the controversial science surrounding man-made global warming but throwing his papal blessing behind the United Nations—an organization that has been historically hostile to the moral tenets of the Gospel and which has actively engaged in the theories of population reduction [Note: since writing this, I did an in depth analysis of the past three popes regarding the United Nations and globalism. See The Popes and the New World Order – Part II).
In his Message for the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, Francis declares:
Now is the time to abandon our dependence on fossil fuels and move, quickly and decisively, towards forms of clean energy and a sustainable and circular economy. —September 1st, 2019; vatican.va
Again, we should all be in favour of ceasing the poisoning of the planet and terrible damage occurring to the oceans, our soil and our air. In the words of Monsignor Charles Pope:
Concern for the environment is part of the wise stewardship expected of Christians. [However,] There must be no compromising of our Catholic values to join in what has become an increasingly godless, anti-life and anti-human movement. —September 25th, 2019, ncregister.com
Indeed, what is being proposed will actually do more harm to the poor whom, ironically, the Pope (and Christ) repeatedly asks us to care for. James Taylor, Director of the Arthur B. Robinson Center on Climate and Environmental Policy at the Heartland Institute, a conservative research and education organization, notes that there is…
…“nothing clean” about the “environmentally devastating mining of rare-earth minerals necessary for wind and solar power equipment” and observed that the deaths of millions of birds and bats can be blamed on wind turbines. He also suggested that hundreds of square miles have been destroyed to make room for enough wind turbines to produce the same amount of energy as a single power plant. —September 3rd, 2019; LifeSiteNews.com
There are other technologies that are not as harmful as any of the above that could create, in fact, free energy for the entire world. But the point here is not to debate the merits of this or that technology. Rather, it is to point out the anti-human movement that lies behind the climate change religion, which ultimately seeks to reduce the population of the world and impose Communism. To that end, it is an instrument of the “beast” of Revelation. Catholic seer, Luz de Maria, has the approval from her bishop of her messages to the world from Our Lady. It’s worth noting these particular warnings:
Communism has not left Humanity, but has disguised itself in order to continue against My People. —April 27, 2018
Communism has not waned, it resurfaces in the midst of this great confusion on Earth and great spiritual distress. —April 20, 2018
And in March of the same year, Our Lady said:
Communism is not diminishing but expands and takes power, do not be confused when you are told otherwise. The world economy will be that of the antichrist, health will be subject to adherence to the antichrist, everyone will be free if they surrender to the antichrist, food will be given to them if they surrender to the antichrist… THIS IS THE FREEDOM TO WHICH THIS GENERATION IS SURRENDERING: SUBJECTION TO THE ANTICHRIST. —Luz de Maria, March 2, 2018
To that end, I have personally never felt so torn between the direction I see the Vatican going and my conscience. Of course, Christ and Sacred Tradition win every time. Catholics all over the world have written me expressing their reserve as well. So here is a saving grace in all of this. It is actually to stand with the Pope’s own words on this matter. In his Encyclical Letter on the environment, there was inserted a balancing word:
There are certain environmental issues where it is not easy to achieve a broad consensus. Here I would state once more that the Church does not presume to settle scientific questions or to replace politics. But I am concerned to encourage an honest and open debate so that particular interests or ideologies will not prejudice the common good. —Laudato si’, n. 188
And so, taking the Pope’s advice, I respectfully and urgently disagree with the Vatican’s opinion on this since it does not lie within the Church’s mandate, and hope to indeed “encourage an honest and open debate” so as to prevent “particular interests or ideologies” contrary to the Gospel from hurting “the common good.”
VIEW FROM THE WATCHMAN’S WALL
All that said… I believe there is a certain inevitability to what is happening, that everything is going according to plan. By this, I am not suggesting a certain fatalism whereby we cannot impact the future. Rather, what is happening is really the inevitable stages of that “final confrontation” that St. Pope John Paul II said is now upon us:
We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church, of the Gospel and the anti-Gospel, of Christ and the anti-Christ. —Cardinal Karol Wojtyla (JOHN PAUL II), from a 1976 speech to the American Bishops in Philadelphia, Eucharistic Conference
Or what the Catechism describes:
Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers.—Catechism of the Catholic Church, n. 675
Ultimately, the trial lies in a choice we will all have to make: to follow Christ or the spirit of antichrist, who is that dragon, Satan, who demands we fall in line with the rest of the world. Remarkably, St. John speaks of a time when people willingly and blindly go along (“worship”) with the diabolical, which perfectly describes our generation:
Men worshiped the dragon, for [the dragon] had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?” (Revelation 13:4)
Yes, who can fight against the political correctness that has the backing of liberal courts? Who can fight against an environmental movement financed by world bankers and elites and endorsed by the Pope? Who can fight against those who, empowered by the establishment, seek to destroy freedom of religion? Just this week, American politician and former presidential candidate, John Kerry, declared “World War Zero” on anyone who would dare deny man-made global warming, ‘even calling those who oppose their climate agenda “the axis”—a term used to describe Nazi Germany and Japan during World War II.’ [2]csnews.com His website is even “enlisting” recruits to the cause:
World War Zero will unite unlikely allies and bring together powerful influencers and you to win the future we all deserve, and triumph over today’s axis of opposition: delay, denial, and distortion. —worldwarzero.com
He got it right with “distortion.” The fact is that this Final Confrontation, as John Paul II noted, “lies within the plans of divine providence.” Like the Son, the Father will permit the Church to also “suffer, die, and rise again.” Let us be prepared: the Beast, for a short time, will prevail:
…it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them… it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name… Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints. (Rev 13:7, 16, 10)
We cannot thwart the Final Confrontation of our era. What we can do, however, is prepare ourselves and our families and do whatever we can to bring others to Jesus Christ. Time is short… we all feel it. We ought to pay attention to that. The Revolution has come… but what follows will be a glorious Era of Peace in which creation will be somewhat renewed and this present darkness, with its lies and hypocrisy, will become but a faded memory.
