SEVERAL years ago while on pilgrimage, I stayed at a lovely château in the French countryside. I delighted in the old furniture, wooden accents and expressivité du Français in the wallpapers. But I was especially drawn to the old bookshelves with their dusty volumes and yellowed pages.
I happened upon the only book in the collection written in English: World Revolution: The Plot Against Civilization by Nesta Webster. I was immediately struck by the title since, a year earlier, the Lord had begun speaking to me about a coming global Revolution. That, and the fact that I discovered this book in France, was no coincidence. For a friend of mine, a mystical American priest in New Boston, Michigan, had privately shared with me a recent dream and then subsequent audible locution that he had received from St. Thérèse de Lisieux:
Just as my country [France], which was the eldest daughter of the Church, killed her priests and faithful, so will the persecution of the Church take place in your own country. In a short time, the clergy will go into exile and will be unable to enter the churches openly. They will minister to the faithful in clandestine places. The faithful will be deprived of the “kiss of Jesus” [Holy Communion]. The laity will bring Jesus to them in the absence of the priests. —printed with permission
In the years that followed, my research revealed how the French Revolution was masterminded by the same group now plotting a Global Revolution. These men fall beneath the general heading of a “secret society” known as the Freemasons. So dangerous had the Church and even several nations considered this sect, that at least eight popes made over 200 proclamations against them, warning…
…that which is their ultimate purpose forces itself into view—namely, the utter overthrow of that whole religious and political order of the world which the Christian teaching has produced, and the substitution of a new state of things in accordance with their ideas, of which the foundations and laws shall be drawn from mere naturalism. —POPE LEO XIII, Humanum Genus, Encyclical on Freemasonry, n.10, Apri 20th, 1884
His predecessor noted their modus operandi:
…that the goal of this most iniquitous plot is to drive people to overthrow the entire order of human affairs and to draw them over to the wicked theories of this Socialism and Communism… —POPE PIUS IX, Nostis et Nobiscum, Encyclical, n. 18, DECEMBER 8, 1849
REVOLUTION NOW
That was 170 years ago. Were these warnings, then, only for a period of the past, aimed at a group that is no longer relevant? On the contrary, an unnamed retired Vatican official made the following observation to Dr. Robert Moynihan, editor of Inside the Vatican magazine:
The fact is that the thought of Freemasonry, which was the thought of the Enlightenment, believes Christ and his teachings, as taught by the Church, are an impediment to human freedom and self-fulfillment. And this thought has become dominant in the elites of the West, even when those elites are not officially members of any Freemasonic lodge. It is a pervasive modern worldview. —from “Letter #4, 2017: Knight of Malta and Freemasonry”, January 25th, 2017
Catholic author Ted Flynn has been blowing this trumpet of warning for decades:
…few people are aware how deep the roots of this sect actually reach. Freemasonry is perhaps the single greatest secular organized power on earth today and battles head to head with the things of God on a daily basis. It is a controlling power in the world, operating behind the scenes in banking and politics, and it has effectively infiltrated all religions. Masonry is a worldwide secret sect undermining the authority of the Catholic Church with a hidden agenda at the upper levels to destroy the papacy. —Ted Flynn, Hope of the Wicked: The Master Plan to Rule the World, p. 154
Secret societies have not disbanded. They have simply restructured and changed their language to suit the times, what is known in the former Soviet Union as “perestroika.” Take for instance former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, who is said to be a 33rd degree Freemason. He is case-in-point of how Communist ideology did not die—it just became “Green.” Before he helped to dismantle the USSR, Gorbachev was clear on his trajectory:
We are moving toward a new world, the world of Communism. We shall never turn off that road… —speech at the 70th anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution, 1989
The “road” for him, as you read in Part III, is the United Nations. The lingo has now changed to an environmental crisis that, at its root, is an economic crisis and thus forms the basis for the push toward “sustainable development” and the complete re-ordering of the global economy. It’s Communism through another door.[1]see also Capitalism and the Beast
Fortunately, speaking under divine inspiration, Pope Pius XI warned of the inherent sophistries we are hearing now on a weekly basis:
By pretending to desire only the betterment of the condition of the working classes, by urging the removal of the very real abuses chargeable to the liberalistic economic order, and by demanding a more equitable distribution of this world’s goods (objectives entirely and undoubtedly legitimate), the Communist takes advantage of the present world-wide economic crisis to draw into the sphere of his influence even those sections of the populace which on principle reject all forms of materialism and terrorism… —Divini Redemptoris, n. 15
In his powerful new book The Family and the New Totalitarianism, Michael D. O’Brien warns:
The human community is never more endangered than when totalitarianism appears to be benevolent.
Just this week in Britain, the socialist Labour Party is promising to end the era of billionaires while “pledging a radical redistribution of wealth.”[2]November 18th, 2019, Thomson Reuters This is just one example of how we have come to a turning point, where revolution is bursting out into the open against both real and perceived injustices perpetrated not only by governments and the ruling class, but by the Church.
Leading the push are the youth who have been carefully and successfully indoctrinated. Such has been the power of social communication and the media.
There is another explanation for the rapid diffusion of the Communistic ideas now seeping into every nation, great and small, advanced and backward, so that no corner of the earth is free from them. This explanation is to be found in a propaganda so truly diabolical that the world has perhaps never witnessed its like before. It is directed from one common center. —POPE PIUS XI, Divini Redemptoris: On Atheistic Communism, n. 17
Look how many young people today have been terrorized into believing that the world is about to end through global warming! Look how many schools have readily integrated gender ideology and radical sex education! Look how many college students are willing to shut down free speech! Look how many young people are embracing the errors of the past, despite the death toll these ideologies have exacted in the tens of millions:
A poll released Sunday found that nearly half of young Americans support socialism.—Axios poll, The Washington Examiner, March 10th, 2019
Another new poll reveals that 54% of Catholics would vote for Socialist candidate Bernie Sanders![3]catholicnewsagency.com How could this be? O’Brien continues:
The new totalitarian’s idealism, his “humanitarianism,” his public image, may all communicate to us many good things, and thus our imagination is captured to the detriment of real discernment. We soon find ourselves succumbing to a magnetic attraction, and voting for leaders who would sacrifice human lives for the sake of “peace” or a thriving economy or some other value. Our guilt is denied, our sense of personal responsibility is numbed, to the degree that we perceive the sacrificed lives as statistical abstractions and our personal comforts as more real. By such choices we are revealed to ourselves. Where our treasure is, there is our heart. By and large, in the once-Christian democracies of the West we have been measured in the scales and found wanting. —The Family and the New Totalitarianism, Divine Providence Press, 2019
Precisely because of the numbing of hearts and minds to good and evil—anesthetized in part by shepherds who relativized the truth or simply bothered to no longer teach it—a Great Vacuum is in waiting for an alternative ideology and new savior to fill the void that Christianity once occupied.
The Antichrist will fool many people because he will be viewed as a humanitarian with a fascinating personality, who espouses vegetarianism, pacifism, human rights and environmentalism. —Cardinal Biffi, London Times, Friday, March 10, 2000, referring to a portrait of the Antichrist in Vladimir Soloviev’s book, War, Progress and the End of History
THE GREAT DECEPTION
Thus comes a frank warning:
Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the “mystery of iniquity” in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth…
The Antichrist’s deception already begins to take shape in the world every time the claim is made to realize within history that messianic hope which can only be realized beyond history through the eschatological judgment… especially the “intrinsically perverse” political form of a secular messianism. —Catechism of the Catholic Church, n. 675, 676
Secular messianism is precisely what Communism is—the heretical notion that we can create a utopia on earth where perfect equality, justice and community prevail, absent of God.
When people think they possess the secret of a perfect social organization which makes evil impossible, they also think that they can use any means, including violence and deceit, in order to bring that organization into being. Politics then becomes a “secular religion” which operates under the illusion of creating paradise in this world. —POPE ST. JOHN PAUL II, Centesimus Annus, n. 25
The present danger is: now that the Church, after centuries of being a dominant cultural force is falling into disgrace, all the while the “errors of Russia” continue to spread, the world has become ripe for a Global Revolution—one that takes on apocalyptic proportions. Communism promises to meet both the interior and external needs of man by proposing a just and equal communion among brethren. But without the community of the Holy Trinity as its animating principle and model, it is a deception.
The Communism of today, more emphatically than similar movements in the past, conceals in itself a false messianic idea. A pseudo-ideal of justice, of equality and fraternity in labor impregnates all its doctrine and activity with a deceptive mysticism, which communicates a zealous and contagious enthusiasm to the multitudes entrapped by delusive promises. —POPE PIUS XI, Divini Redemptoris, n. 8
Monsignor George Francis Dillon DD (1836-1893) was a 19th century Irish missionary. His writings warning about the dangers of Freemasonry won the approval of Pope Leo XIII, and today, are more prophetic than ever.
…all secret societies aiming at bad and irreligious ends are no other than deadly Illuminated Freemasonry… invented and cast upon the earth by Satan to compass the ruin of souls and the destruction of the reign of Jesus. [The final end is] to form, and that before very many years, the vast kingdom of anti-Christ, which already spreads its ramifications over the whole earth. —World Revolution: The Plot Against Civilization, (1921) Nesta H. Webster, p. 325
Today, the sophistries of Freemasonry appear to have evolved into a mission to save Mother Earth through the United Nations’ Agenda 2030 (what could be more benevolent than that?). The world will become equal. No one will own land. It will belong to all. We will earn the same. We will share all. The archaic notion of “family” will be dissolved. We’ll be a global village. We will all be one.
It is Communism with a different hat.
And it is condemned by the Church for the reason that it excludes God and ultimately and inevitably terminates in totalitarianism—a system based on control, not charity.
…without the guidance of charity in truth, this global force could cause unprecedented damage and create new divisions within the human family… humanity runs new risks of enslavement and manipulation. —POPE BENEDICT XVI, Caritas in Veritate, n.33, 26
COMMUNISM IS NOT DEAD
There is a mysterious passage in the Book of Revelation that speaks of two beasts that, together, rise to dominate the entire world (cf. Rev 13). The first beast, according to the mystical writings of the late Fr. Stefano Gobbi (which bear the Imprimatur), is a powerful global dictatorship:
The seven heads indicate the various masonic lodges, which act everywhere in a subtle and dangerous way. This Black Beast has ten horns and, on the horns, ten crowns, which are signs of dominion and royalty. Masonry rules and governs throughout the whole world by means of the ten horns. —alleged message to Fr. Stefano, To the Priests, Our Lady’s Beloved Sons, n. 405.d-e
“Who can compare with the beast or who can fight against it?” the earth’s inhabitants declare.[4]v. 4 Of this beast, St. John’s writes:
I saw that one of its heads seemed to have been mortally wounded, but this mortal wound was healed. Fascinated, the whole world followed after the beast. (Revelation 13:3)
Could that mortal wound represent in some way the seeming dissolution of Communism (or previous dictatorships such as Nero’s) that many thought had collapsed with the Berlin Wall? We can only speculate. What is certain according to the text is that the world is entranced by the beast’s rise to power.
The return of Communism is one of the Marian messages of our time. The Costa Rican seer Luz de Maria has been given the explicit endorsement of her bishop.[5]“…coming to the conclusion that they are an exhortation to Humanity so that the latter would return to the Way that leads to Eternal Life, these Messages being an explanation from Heaven in these moments in which man must remain alert and not stray from the Divine Word.” —Bishop Juan Abelardo Mata Guevara; from a letter containing the Imprimatur Recently, Christ allegedly said to her:
Communism has not left Humanity, but has disguised itself in order to continue against My People. —April 27, 2018
Communism has not waned, it resurfaces in the midst of this great confusion on Earth and great spiritual distress. —April 20, 2018
And in March last year, Our Mother repeated:
Communism is not diminishing but expands and takes power, do not be confused when you are told otherwise. —March 2, 2018
Fifty years prior, one of the seers in Garabandal, Spain named Conchita Gonzalez warned that the world would experience a “warning” or “illumination of conscience.” But when?
“When Communism comes again everything will happen.”
The author responded: “What do you mean by comes again?”
“Yes, when it newly comes again,” [Conchita] replied.
“Does that mean that Communism will go away before that?”
“I don’t know,” she said in reply, “the Blessed Virgin simply said ‘when Communism comes again’.” —Garabandal – Der Zeigefinger Gottes (Garabandal – The Finger of God), Albrecht Weber, n. 2; excerpt from www.motherofallpeoples.com
In an interview on September 29th, 1978, with Fr. Francis Benac, S.J., alleged Garabandal seer, Mari Loli, also spoke of Communism’s reprisal:
Our Lady spoke several times about Communism. I don’t remember how many times, but she said that a time would come when it would seem that Communism had mastered or engulfed the whole world. I think it was then that she told us that priests would have difficulty saying Mass, and talking about God and divine things… When the Church suffers confusion, the people are going to suffer too. Some priests who are Communists will create such confusion that people will not know right from wrong. —from The Call of Garabandal, April-June, 1984
What follows is the culmination of the new paganism reemerging in our times, but which began millennia ago in the Garden of Eden…
