A Man-Made Famine

HAY season is just wrapping up for me (which is why I have been absent of late). Today, as I was heading to the last field to harvest, I was taking notice of the crops around me. As far as the eye could see, almost all of them are canola. This is (now) a genetically modified seed that is sprayed with glyphosate (aka. Roundup) several times before harvesting.[1]Glyphosate is now linked to sperm reduction and cancer. The end product is not something you can eat, at least, not directly. The seed is turned into various products such as canola oil or margarine — but not an edible like wheat, barley, or rye.

To see all these canola fields at this time strikes me as very odd.[2]Of course, farmers are planting canola because that is the crop that is most profitable. After all, according to the World Food Programme’s website,

Conflict, economic shocks, climate extremes and soaring fertilizer prices are combining to create a food crisis of unprecedented proportions. As many as 309 million people are facing chronic hunger in 72 countries. We have a choice: act now to save lives and invest in solutions that secure food security, stability and peace for all, or see people around the world facing rising hunger. —2024, www.wfp.org/global-hunger-crisis

It’s odd because, if there is a global food crisis, why aren’t world leaders calling for the agricultural sector to grow as much wheat or other food staples as possible? According to President Joe Biden, the Russian-Ukraine conflict itself will produce global food shortages: “We did talk about food shortages. And it’s going to be real.”[3]March 24, 2022, yahoo.com

The agricultural market was already experiencing problems due to COVID-19 restrictions, and 11 states have agricultural export restrictions — the global shortages caused by the Ukraine War are likely to increase these trade limitations. Moscow and Beijing have also implemented export bans on fertilizer or components used to manufacture them. The inability to fertilize will lower crop yields. The trade bans work to increase panic and generate additional price spikes. The countries that have the greatest import-dependent populations will see their populations’ food supply contract and suffer hunger and possible famine. — “Great-Power Competition and the Russian Invasion of Ukraine“, Jul/August 2022, Dr. G. Douglas Davis & Dr. Michael O. Slobodchikoff (Dr. Davis sent an email to me noting that the main image above mirrors the Ukraine flag…)

And in America, over a hundred food processing plants of various kinds have been mysteriously damaged or burned down in the past couple of years,[4]see a list here alongside cyber attacks.[5]“The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is informing Food and Agriculture (FA) sector partners that ransomware actors may be more likely to attack agricultural cooperatives during critical planting and harvest seasons, disrupting operations, causing financial loss, and negatively impacting the food supply chain. The FBI noted ransomware attacks during these seasons against six grain cooperatives during the fall 2021 harvest and two attacks in early 2022 that could impact the planting season by disrupting the supply of seeds and fertilizer.” —2022, www.ic3.gov/Media/News/2022/220420-2.pdf So why aren’t politicians joining together, like Joseph of old, to literally fill our granaries with food for a present and impending crisis? Why aren’t we expanding herds, distributing food, and preparing for the inevitable?

When the seven years of abundance enjoyed by the land of Egypt came to an end, the seven years of famine set in, just as Joseph had said. Although there was famine in all the other countries, food was available throughout the land of Egypt. (Gen 41:53-54)

On the contrary, governments are preoccupied with the Big Lie of “climate change” and another virus, this time “bird flu.” Using the infamous and highly-manipulated “PCR test” (yes, the same one that was fraudulently used to inflate COVID numbers and eventually banned by some governments[6]cf. documentary “Following the Science?” at 7:28 mark ), healthy flocks or livestock are being tested “positive” for avian flu. As a result, the widespread deaths of these birds and animals is actually not from the virus itself:

So far, the bird flu has mostly been a problem for birds. It’s not the disease that’s killing most of them, however — it’s their owners.Vox, May 5, 2022

The article continues, “When chicken, turkey, and egg companies detect one infected bird, they kill the whole flock in an effort to slow the spread of the virus. And they’re doing so using a variety of excruciating methods, including spraying birds with a suffocating water-based foam or closing off barn vents to raise temperatures so the birds die by heat stroke, a practice called ventilation shutdown, which can take 1.5 to 3.75 hours to kill them.”

Denmark has actually gone so far as to discourage food production by introducing the world’s first emissions tax on agriculture, requiring farmers to pay for greenhouse gases released by their cows, sheep and pigs. Yes, a tax on animal farts.[7]June 26, 2024, the-express.com

Of course, the mainstream media is all-in on attacking anyone as a “conspiracy theorist” who questions the prudence (or ethics) of destroying the food supply — which immediately suggests that there really is something funky going on…

Man-Made Labor Pains

Of course, my questions above are rhetorical. It should be very clear, to those who are awake at least, that our leaders throughout the Western World are acting on a bizarre and coordinated agenda — and not one that is best for the people they represent. You cannot lockdown entire populations, damage the supply chain, create a mental health crisis, force experimental chemicals into their bodies, take away their freedom, and then destroy their food supply without such leaders being either completely incompetent… or somehow complicit, knowingly or not, in a greater agenda. And the greater agenda is to finally, utterly, destroy the foundations of the world as we know it precisely in order to “build back better” a world re-made in the image of the financial controllers.

At this period, however, the partisans of evil seems to be combining together, and to be struggling with united vehemence, led on or assisted by that strongly organized and widespread association called the Freemasons. No longer making any secret of their purposes, they are now boldly rising up against God Himself… that which is their ultimate purpose forces itself into view — namely, the utter overthrow of that whole religious and political order of the world which the Christian teaching has produced, and the substitution of a new state of things in accordance with their ideas, of which the foundations and laws shall be drawn from mere naturalism. —POPE LEO XIII, Humanum Genus, Encyclical on Freemasonry, n.10, Apri 20thl, 1884

This also means a vastly depopulated globe and a revamped world order.

In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself. —Club of Rome, The First Global Revolution, p. 75, 1993; Alexander King & Bertrand Schneider

Long before the lingo of a “Great Reset” entered into contemporary parlance, prophetic Canadian author Michael D. O’Brien had these globalists pegged:

They will unleash unprecedented horrors: famines, plagues, wars, and ultimately Divine Justice. In the beginning they will use coercion to further reduce population, and then if that fails they will use force. —Michael D. O’Brien, Globalization and the New World Order, March 17th, 2009

This is why, for me personally, one of the keys that unlocks the meaning of Matthew 24 and Revelation 6 is the fact that these “labor pains” and “seals” are, in fact, man-made — veiled descriptions of an eventual global “conspiracy against life”, as St. John Paul II put it.[8]cf. The Labor Pains: Depopulation? Hence, when Jesus described wars, famine (Mt 24:7), plague (Lk 21:11)  and the rise of “false prophets” (Mt 24:11), it seems He was speaking of man-made chastisements driven by dangerous and deluded messianists:

Death battles against Life: a “culture of death” seeks to impose itself on our desire to live, and live to the full. There are those who reject the light of life, preferring “the fruitless works of darkness.” Their harvest is injustice, discrimination, exploitation, deceit, violence. In every age, a measure of their apparent success is the death of the innocents. In our own century, as at no other time in history, the “culture of death” has assumed a social and institutional form of legality to justify the most horrible crimes against humanity: genocide, “final solutions,” “ethnic cleansings,” and the massive “taking of lives of human beings even before they are born, or before they reach the natural point of death”…. Today that struggle has become increasingly direct. —text of Pope John Paul II’s remarks at Sunday Mass at Cherry Creek State Park, Denver Colorado, World Youth Day, 1993, August 15, 1993, Solemnity of the Assumption; ewtn.com

As the summer days roll along, and life continues to feel relatively “normal,” I am also acutely aware that we are almost certainly in between the hard labor pains.[9]cf. The Great Transition and The Labor Pains are Real Indeed, the very same scenarios that preceded COVID are being played out again… with global summits on avian flu… the media obsessively preparing the populace for the next pandemic… government leaders destroying the economy as fast as they can by inflationary policies and nonsensical “green” initiatives, etc.

Anyway, time to get back on my tractor and make those last few bales. While I think it is imperative that you and I live in the present moment and that we continue to enjoy the life that God has given us as best we can without obsessing over these things, it seems to me that we ought to physically prepare to a degree as well — something I have rarely spoken about. If possible, have a few months of food in your stores and some other basic supplies. At the end of the day, however, if what seems to be coming transpires, we will all at some point be utterly reliant upon Divine Providence to carry us through — as much as Noah depended upon the ark to survive.

And so the words of Our Lord Jesus are as relevant today as the moment He spoke them:

Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your life-span? Why are you anxious about clothes? Learn from the way the wild flowers grow. They do not work or spin. But I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was clothed like one of them. If God so clothes the grass of the field, which grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith? So do not worry and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear?’ All these things the pagans seek. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides. Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil. (Matt 6:27-34)
