From the Mediterranean to the Gulf of Mexico, from Japan to northern India, and across nearly the entire inhabited northern hemisphere — one of the most widespread auroral events in living memory occurred on November 11, 2025. A coronal mass ejection from the Sun and subsequent G5 geomagnetic storm (the highest level on NOAA’s space weather scale) spread across the night skies, blanketing all of Europe, Russia, and North America in a crimson red light, clearly visible to the eye, even in Louisiana and parts of China. Elijah Taken Up in a Chariot of Fire, by Giuseppe Angeli, c. 1740
As the prophet Elijah is taken up
to heaven in a fiery chariot,
he bestows his cloak on the prophet Elisha,
his young disciple.
Elisha in his boldness has asked
for a “double portion”
of Elijah’s spirit. (cf. 2 Kings 2:9-11)
In our times, every disciple of Jesus
is called to bear prophetic witness
against the culture of death,
be it a small piece of the cloak or a large one.

I was praying before the Blessed Sacrament in my spiritual director’s private chapel when words, seemingly outside of myself, rose up in my heart:
I am giving you the ministry of John the Baptist.

Your divine commandments are broken,
your Gospel is thrown aside,
torrents of iniquity flood the whole earth
carrying away even your servants.
The whole land is desolate,
ungodliness reigns supreme,
your sanctuary is desecrated
and the abomination of desolation
has even contaminated the holy place.
God of Justice, God of Vengeance,
will you let everything, then, go the same way?
Will everything come to the same end
as Sodom and Gomorrah?
Will you never break your silence?
Will you tolerate all this for ever?
Is it not true that your will must be done
on earth as it is in heaven?
Is it not true that your kingdom must come?
Did you not give to some souls, dear to you,
a vision of the future renewal
of the Church?

Reading the words of Jesus to Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, you begin to understand that the coming of the Kingdom of the Divine Will, as we pray each day in the Our Father, is the single greatest objective of Heaven. “I want to raise the creature back to her origin,” Jesus said to Luisa, “…that my Will be known, loved, and done on earth as It is in Heaven.” [1]Vol. 19, June 6, 1926 Jesus even says that the glory of the Angels and Saints in Heaven “will not be complete if my Will does not have Its complete triumph on earth.”

I am reading the latest Michael D. O’Brien novel about a letter found in the future Era of Peace. A couple of my readers recently sent a great question along these lines:
Jesus tells us that His sheep hear His voice (John 10:4). Personally, I’ve tried to establish that connection with God, and I keep trying to open up that two-way conversation, but so far His voice seems distant. Maybe my problem is that I’m talking too much and not listening enough. I’m not giving up — I’ll keep trying. The reason I’m writing is that I’m wondering if you could share your thoughts?
Funny you should ask this, because I just said to my bishop recently, “It seems like the Lord is quite silent these days.” But is He?Continue reading

So many of us are tired at what seems an explosion of evil, division, and uncertainty in the world. There is a sense of weariness as darkness gathers like a Great Storm, something John Paul II was frank to admit:
It is precisely at the end of the second millennium that immense, threatening clouds converge on the horizon of all humanity and darkness descends upon human souls. —POPE JOHN PAUL II, from a speech, December, 1983; www.vatican.va

Blow the horn in Zion,
sound the alarm on My holy mountain!
Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble,

The land before it is like the garden of Eden,
and behind it, a desolate wilderness;
from it nothing escapes.

The faster we move toward the end of this era, the closer we come to the beginning. The trial humanity is collectively facing is essentially the same one Adam and Eve faced in the Garden: the choice between obedience to the Creator and His designs… or to eat from “the tree of knowledge of good and evil” (Gen 2:9). Today, this ancient tree has taken on the form of artificial intelligence and its false promises.Continue reading

First, let me say how grateful I am for the support that has poured in from all over the world — Switzerland, India, Australia, Germany, Austria, the United States, etc. This includes letters from Carmelite Monasteries, priests, deacons, and laity alike. To be honest, it always catches me by surprise. For the enemy is always a step behind me whispering, “No one is listening. They don’t care. You’re wasting your breath. You should do something else with your life…” It’s a constant noise or, as I say, his Temptation to be “Normal.” But I just tell him I’ll preach to an empty church so long as it’s God’s will.Continue reading

We have reached a new turning point in this present battle. Where the Now Word is going, and the need for your support…

The world is rapidly being divided into two camps,
the comradeship of anti-Christ

How long the battle will be we know not;
whether swords will have to be unsheathed we know not;
whether blood will have to be shed we know not;
whether it will be an armed conflict we know not.
But in a conflict between truth and darkness,
truth cannot lose.

These are surreal days. Even for me, after writing about these things for 20 years, it’s surreal to see them being fulfilled in real time.
For instance, in 2007 I sensed the Spirit warning of The Great Vacuum the Church has largely left in the world by a lack of true shepherding and public sins. That article spoke of how the youth are being prepped to follow a false gospel, if not become violent persecutors, through a barrage of propaganda and corrupt entertainment. A revolutionary spirit was being stirred in them. That article also spoke of how God is simultaneously forming an Army of Light — if not martyrs — for these times, and ultimately predicted the hour through which we are now living. It’s a warning that has come to fruition as the armies of light and darkness have been formed, for the teenagers of yesterday (when I wrote that) are now the young adults of today.Continue reading

The Basket
It was just an ordinary run to the dump — some old boards, bags of garbage, and a bit of Spring cleaning. I tossed away a broken laundry basket full of old worn out shoes that once belonged to my children. But it stopped me in my tracks. As I studied those shoes, I remembered taking my eight kids to the store, buying them boots or runners, the smiles on their faces with a new pair of footwear. They played football on the front lawn, ran through the mud, climbed snowbanks or milked a cow in those shoes.
But now all but one of those kids have left home. The shoes that carried my loved ones no longer have purpose. So there I stood at the landfill, tears in my eyes as raw memories raced through my mind. I took a deep breath and sighed, “I’m growin’ old.”Continue reading

True hope does not lie in knowing the future, but in knowing its Author. I think many people today are scrolling the news, or looking for a certain politician or leader, or turn of events or even prophetic websites like Countdown to the Kingdom that would offer a glimmer of hope to change the course of things. Yes, knowing of a coming Era of Peace or “triumph of the Immaculate Heart”, or knowing that God “wins in the end” as the cliché goes, can be a hopeful message. But it can quickly be drowned out with the next glum headline or personal misfortune and suffering in our own lives. Suddenly, we can find ourselves looking again for another “out,” for another word of consolation, another word of hope… Continue reading

When the Lord called me to this writing apostolate some twenty years ago, few people in mainstream Catholicism would even entertain the idea that we could be living in extraordinary times. People were either too scared, too complacent, or too skeptical to even consider that our generation could be passing through the change of epochs. “Ah, everybody says their times are the end times.” I have heard that a thousand times. But as I began to publish what the popes were saying about these times, what authentic prophecy was addressing, and raised awareness of the accompanying “signs of the times,” many people started to see — like St. John Newman — that, yes, something unusual is unfolding all around us. This interior “vision” came to me in 2007, and has “stuck” in my soul like a note on a fridge. It was ever-present on my heart as I wrote Satan’s Golden Hour.
When this vision came to me eighteen years ago, the “unnatural” and “false, deceptive light” remained somewhat a mystery. The deceptive light is indeed Satan’s Golden Hour… Continue reading
