GROWING up on the Canadian prairies in a country that had long embraced multiculturalism as part of her creed, my classmates were from nearly every background on the planet. One friend was of aboriginal blood, his skin brownish red. My polish friend, who barely spoke English, was a pale white. Another playmate was Chinese with yellowish skin. The kids we played with up the street, one who would eventually deliver our third daughter, were dark East Indians. Then there were our Scottish and Irish friends, pink-skinned and freckled. And our Filipino neighbours around the corner were a soft brown. When I worked in radio, I grew in good friendships with a Sikh and a Muslim. In my television days, a Jewish comedian and I became great friends, eventually attending his wedding. And my adopted niece, the same age as my youngest son, is a beautiful African American girl from Texas. In other words, I was and am colorblind.

And yet, I am not colorblind. I look at the diversity of each of these people, created in the image of God, and marvel at their uniqueness. Just as their are many wildflowers on these prairies, so too, there are different bodies, different colors of flesh, hair colors and textures, nose-shapes, lip-shapes, eye-shapes, etc. We are different. Period. And yet, we are the same. What makes us different on the outside is our genes; what makes us the same on the inside (the soul and spirit) is the intelligence, will, and memory we each possess as creatures made in the image of God.

But today, very subtle ideologies, cloaked in the poison of political correctness, would seem to unite us but, in fact, are tearing us apart. The bloodshed and violence beginning to spread around the world in the name of fighting “racism” is wrought with contradictions. And these, I’m afraid, are not by accident. In yesterday’s first Mass reading, St. Peter warned:

…be on your guard not to be led into the error of the unprincipled and to fall from your own stability. (Yesterday’s First Mass reading)

Never has that been more true than at this hour, especially with the emergence of a novel doctrine: “white privilege.”

What happened to George Floyd has disturbed so many of us. While it has not been established as a racial crime (they worked together in the past), the scene was enough to remind all of us, but especially the African American community, of the terrible racist acts of the past against black people. Unfortunately, police brutality is nothing new either. It’s too common and part of the reason that many are protesting as well. Such brutality and racism are terrible evils that have plagued not only American society but cultures around the world. Racism is ugly and should be fought wherever it rears its ugly head.

But is renouncing “white privilege” doing that? Before we address that, a word on something else that’s disturbing…

 

AUTHENTIC FAKE NEWS

In Fake News, Real Revolution, I shared with you a rather disturbing transformation in television news when I was a reporter in the 1990’s. How one day there suddenly appeared these “American consultants” who literally changed the face of news overnight. All our “journalistic standards” were virtually tossed out the window. Suddenly, deliberate shakiness in the camera was “good” in order to create “drama”; abrupt and sloppy editing was now encouraged; shorter news stories devoid of much substance became the norm. But most astonishing of all was the sudden and quiet disappearance of many of my colleagues to be replaced with young students fresh out of technical school. They looked more like models than many of the serious reporters I knew who were suddenly “let go.” This trend spread throughout the entire Western world such that by the new millennium, all the journalistic standards and neutrality that many of us tried to maintain were all but discarded.

In other words, Western media is now no less a propaganda machine than the former USSR; only the packaging is different.

Today’s youth—taught to believe that they are nothing more than evolved bacteria, that there is no God, that they are neither male nor female, and that “right” and “wrong” are whatever they “feel” it is—are like dry sponges, soaking up whatever ideology is being fed to them by the media. Dry sponges, because for fifty years the Church has by and large failed to soak them in the powerful truth of God’s Word, but instead, the vapors of modernism. Hence, the young are now the ones marching to the tune of dangerous ideologies, holding high their banners, mindlessly repeating their doctrines… and marching straight into a trap (cf. The Unfurling Revolution).

As I warned in The Great Vaccum many years ago, the young people who follow this spirit of antichrist risk becoming ‘de facto the army of Satan, a generation prepared to carry out a persecution of those who oppose this “New World Order,” which would be presented to them in the most idealistic terms. Today, we are witnessing before our very eyes a widening gulf between traditional and liberal values. Numerous polls indicate that the current generation of youth (under thirty) have moral views and values greatly at odds with those of their parents…’

A father will be divided against his son and a son against his father, a mother against her daughter and a daughter against her mother… You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and kinsmen and friends… (Luke 12:53, 21:16)

Today, news anchors have morphed into editorialists whilst reporters have become shallow mouthpieces of a homogeneous narrative essentially controlled by five corporate giants who own 90% of the entire media infrastructure (see The Pandemic of Control). I am restating this because many don’t realize how they are being played like a fiddle right now. They hardly notice when the entire media apparatus “all of a sudden” starts dictating in unison to our social conscience how traditional marriage is now evil, how there is no such thing as fixed gender, how women have a “right to choose” the fate of their unborn, how assisted suicide is “compassionate”, how we must “social distance” from the healthy, and now again this week, how white people ought to feel awful for being white. The ease with which the majority of the population is acquiescing to these ideologies is truly terrifying and constitutes a major sign of the imminence of our times. St. Paul called it “lawlessness” (see The Hour of Lawlessness) and warned how this would precede the arrival of the “lawless one.”^[1]2 Thess 2:3-8

Case in point: the mainstream media continues to call those who are destroying businesses, burning cars, and shooting innocent police officers “protesters” rather than what they are: rioters and criminals. That’s a subtle but powerful manipulation of truth. Others went further, beyond the rhetoric most of us have heard in our lifetimes in the “civilized” West. The looting, arson, and vandalism was described by this State Attorney General as…

Violence is when an agent of the State kneels on a man’s neck until all of the life is leeched out of his body. But this kind of systematic brainwashing is only effective through the art of humiliation. To question the narrative automatically makes one a “bigot”, a “homophobe”, or a “racist”. Thus, better-minded people suddenly fall quiet for fear of not only being castigated, but losing their jobs or even being fined. Welcome to the Twenty-first century and the fruits of “progress.” But I want no part of it. It’s time to call a spade a spade because some things really are black and white.

 

THE POLITICS OF DIVISION

“White privilege”, Wikipedia tells us, “refers to the societal privilege that benefits white people over non-white people in some societies, particularly if they are otherwise under the same social, political, or economic circumstances.” How true is this? In some places, depending on the time in history or the geographic location, very true. But as a “black and white” statement being used to “guilt” entire populations, it is a grotesque weapon of division wielded most often by high-paid, high-profile white news anchors and politicians who live in gated mansions. Essentially, white people (whoever that is, since white skin can refer to someone from Europe, Israel, America, Canada, Australia, etc. whose heritage could be Russian, Italian, Polish, Irish, British, etc.) must pay back a public debt, either through real reparations or simply feeling ashamed for something they have had no control over or have no say in. They could be saints—but they must feel guilty.

The man who shot this video may be a prankster… but watch the woman’s reaction:

The most ridiculed and evil figure in entertainment today is and has been for some time, the white male. He is often portrayed either as a stupid, grotesque womanizer; a disassociated husband; an emasculated single parent; or a serial killer. He is considered the antithesis of feminism and the obstacle to equal opportunity. In fact, the only white males who earn much praise at all in the media today are either athletes or those who put on dresses.

The entire ideology of “white privilege”, and the way it is being used, is nothing other than racism in reverse. And make no mistake, it is literally lethal. How many of the bricks being thrown, businesses being burned, people being beaten, and police officers being shot at are the fruit of so-called “righteous anger” toward “white privilege”? (That said, in some interviews rioters were saying that the “money was too good” not to be paid to riot. More on that in a moment.)

What happened to George Floyd was indeed outrageous. What’s happening to innocent business owners right now—black, white, brown, yellow, etc.—is also outrageous. But what the media does so well is to eliminate personal responsibility and turn everyone into victims. Did anyone even know if the officer, aided by his Chinese colleague, who killed Floyd, did so out of a racist motive or was he simply a pathological, power-hungry, amoral person? The first brick through a window did not wait for an answer (nor does the media want to consider that more American whites have been shot to death by police in that country than blacks.^[2]statista.com Again, racism is real; but so are facts.)

 

THE ROOT OF DYSFUNCTION

When I first heard the words “white privilege” being levelled at any of us born with this gene, I was personally baffled. For one, born of Polish and Ukrainian parents, my mother came from a life of poverty. Even while I was growing up, Ukrainians were the butt of many jokes in Canada—a hangover from the years when Ukrainian immigrants were considered stupid because they could not speak English well. And yes, they were all white. My father was raised on a small-sized farm that for many years was without power and only an outhouse. My grandparents and parents worked hard, sacrificed and saved in order to provide a modest but comfortable upbringing for us children. The only “privilege” we knew came from sacrifice.

Growing up, I quickly discovered what truly ebbed away any “privilege” I might have had: my faith. This, more often than not, excluded me from friendships, won the odd jeer, and, later on in life, became a point of persecution in the workplace. Exclusion simply went hand in hand with being an open and faithful Catholic. But my skin color actually did come into play at one point.

Back in the 90’s, there was a new job posting in our television station for an anchor position, and so I applied. But when I asked the producer about the job, he flatly admitted: “We’re looking for someone who is a racial minority, disabled, or a woman—so you probably won’t get it.” And I didn’t. But that’s not what bothered me. It was the idea that the person being hired wouldn’t necessarily land the job based on their talent, hard-work or investment in their education, but on something they had no control over: their color, health, or gender. What an insult if that is the ultimate consideration. It’s really a new form of discrimination donning a politically correct mask and a polite voice: “Actually, the color of your skin does matter.”

On the other hand, in order to make reparation to the aboriginal communities for the true injustices that occurred many generations ago, many members of “Indian status” were and are offered free university degrees, tax-free goods, special hunting and fishing rights, free housing and more. Yet, many people in these communities have a terrible start in life. Children are born into dysfunction, alcoholism, and systemic sin. My ministry has taken me onto several native reserves, and I have seen a great deal of sadness and oppression from within. And therein lies the point of what truly holds back human development in most places today: our choices, not our skin color.

Consider the lives of two men. One of them, Max Jukes, lived in New York. He did not believe in Christ or give Christian training to his children. He refused to take his children to church, even when they asked to attend. He had 1026 descendants—300 of whom were sent to prison for an average term of 13 years, some 190 were public prostitutes, and 680 were admitted alcoholics. His family members cost the State in excess of $420,000—thus far—and they had made no known positive contributions to society. 

Jonathan Edwards lived in the same State at the same time. He loved the Lord and saw that his children were in church every Sunday. He served the Lord to the best of his ability. Of his 929 descendants, 430 were ministers, 86 became university professors, 13 became university presidents, 75 wrote positive books, 7 were elected to the U.S. Congress, and one served as the Vice-President of the United States. His family never cost the State one cent, but contributed immeasurably to the common good.

THE REAL DISCRIMINATION

Still, it has become politically expedient to ride the wave of political correctness today. No one wears this mask more proudly than the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau—one of the most dangerous ideologues in power in the Western World. There is no politically correct wind this man will not ride, no matter how illogical or immoral. Ironically, he openly and proudly discriminates against nearly half of the country: he has banned any future candidates who hold a pro-life position from his Liberal Party. In fact, he said he would dig further:

Indeed, emergency COVID-19 funding for hurting Canadian businesses, charities, and non-profits was made contingent on whether or not their organization “does not promote violence, incite hatred or discriminate on the basis of sex, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, culture, region, education, age or mental or physical disability.”^[3]ceba-cuec.ca And this on the heels of Trudeau withholding funding of Summer Job grants in 2018 to employers who refused to sign an attestation that they supported “reproductive” rights, that is, abortion, and transgender “rights.”^[4]cf. Justin the Just As we’ve seen time again, simply upholding the natural law, common to civilizations since the dawn of time, is now considered an act of “inciting hatred” and “discrimination.” This is happening not just in Canada but many nations.

Indeed, is not the most aggressive discrimination today at the hands of a certain “gay privilege”? As I was penning this, a news story broke that Facebook has once again banned a page of concerned mothers who don’t want “drag queens” reading to their children.^[5]cf. The Diabolical Disorientation Even though some of these men have been found out to be convicted pedophiles, Facebook has deemed that it is these moms who are the real threat.^[6]cf. WHITE PRIVILEGE… OR A DARK LIE?

The truth is that there isn’t a country on the planet where discrimination hasn’t taken place against any color. The fact that there was a period of colonization of whites in recent centuries does not negate the brutal regimes that have existed elsewhere in nations where few white men tread. On the other hand, the French Revolution killed tens of thousands of fellow “white” citizens. The Bolshevik Revolution eventually eliminated tens of millions of “whites” under Communism. The Nazi Reich targeted mostly Jewish and Polish “whites.” Mao Zedong’s Great Cultural Revolution butchered an estimated 65 million of his fellow Chinese between 1966-1976. In Rwanda, over 800,000 blacks killed fellow blacks in less than a month. Hundreds of thousands were massacred in the ethnic cleansing in the former Yugoslavia throughout the 40’s and then again in the 1990’s. The Cambodian genocide killed as many as 3 million in the 1970’s. As many as 50% of Armenians were killed in the Turkish cleansing. Indonesians killed between 500,000 and 3 million in 1965. The current Islamic Jihad in the Middle East has not only emptied countries like Iraq of Christians but targeted fellow Muslims. And today in American cities, Paris, and elsewhere, etc. millions of dollars of damage to the property of both white and black owners has occurred by vandals and paid “protesters”.

And now we come to the crux of it all. Who is fostering these cultural revolutions? Who is paying some of these rioters in the U.S. and elsewhere, even seemingly supplying them with bricks?^[8]thegatewaypundit.com Understand: the politics of division are essential right now to those behind the scenes working to destabilize the world, collapse America, and democracy as we know it (see When Communism Returns). Many do not realize that ethnic hatred is one of the tools of the “secret societies” (Freemasons, Illuminati, Kabbalists, etc.) whom the popes have warned about in over two hundred Papal condemnations.^[9]Stephen, Mahowald, She Shall Crush Thy Head, MMR Publishing Company, p. 73 The method of these societies, wrote Gerald B. Winrod…

…has always been to stir up strife from secret sources and engender class hatreds. This was the plan used in bringing about the death of Christ: a mob spirit was created. The same policy is described in Acts 14:2, “But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren.” —Adam Weishaupt, A Human Devil, p. 43, c. 1935

Many of the revolutions I’ve stated above were fomented and funded by these powerful international bankers and philanthropists in order to overturn the present order.

Catholic author Stephen Mahowald, also writing about the influence of Adam Weishaupt, who had a hand in merging Illuminism with Freemasonry, notes how the same method used to divide men and women through radical feminism is applied to racial dividing:

This technique, as defined in great length by Weishaupt, was very similar to that which was to be used to fan the flames of revolution through racial and ethnic minorities across the world. “Order out of chaos” were the catchwords which ultimately became the motto of the Illuminati. —Stephen, Mahowald, She Shall Crush Thy Head, MMR Publishing Company, p. 73

Commenting on the passage in Matthew 24 where Jesus says that “nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom” in the “end times,” Mahowald notes:

According to Webster’s New Twentieth Century Dictionary the traditional meaning of nation is “race, a people.” In the time the New Testament was written, nation meant ethnic… Thus, the reference to “nation” in the Gospel passage refers to race rising against race—a prophecy finding fulfillment in the ethnic cleansing being witnessed in various “nations.” —Stephen, Mahowald, She Shall Crush Thy Head, MMR Publishing Company; footnote 233

 

BLACK AND WHITE FACTS

The truth is that the very same people who level the term “white privilege” are often the same people promoting the destruction of black babies. Planned Parenthood in the United States was founded by Margaret Sanger, a eugenicist and clear racist. Her “Negro Project” worked to bring birth control and eventually abortion, particularly to black communities. An investigation by Life Issues Institute concludes, “Planned Parenthood targets women of color for abortion by placing 79 percent of its surgical abortion facilities within walking distance of minority neighborhoods.“^[10]lifeissues.org Sanger herself stated, “Before eugenicists and others who are laboring for racial betterment can succeed, they must first clear the way for Birth Control”;^[11]Birth Control Review, Feb, 1919; nyu.edu and “Knowledge of birth control… must lead to a higher individuality and ultimately to a cleaner race.”^[12]Morality and Birth Control, nyu.eduSanger spoke at Klu Klux Klan meetings;^[13]An Autobiography, p. 366; cf. Lifenews.com she would openly lament “human weeds” in the same sentence she spoke of immigration.^[14]nyu.edu And Sanger appointed Lothrop Stoddard to the board of directors of the Birth Control League (later renamed Planned Parenthood) who wrote in his own book The Rising Tide of Color Against White World-Supremacy that:

We must resolutely oppose both Asiatic permeation of white race-areas and Asiatic inundation of those non-white, but equally non-Asiatic regions inhabited by the really inferior races.

Apparently not all “Black Lives Matter.” Finally, this is the same Sanger praised by the most recent Democratic presidential runner and recipient of Planned Parenthood’s “Margaret Sanger Award”:

But where, I ask, are those who love to play the race card regarding the Indians and Africans currently suffering the fallout of a devastating plague of locusts as they fight COVID-19?^[15]“Second wave of locusts in east Africa said to be 20 times worse”; The Guardian, April 13th, 2020; cf. apnews.com Where are the news anchors’ crocodile tears for those “colored” people facing starvation en masse? Where is the leveraging of so-called “white privilege” to alleviate hunger and mobilize massive assistance to once-and-for-all help these children of God to find clean water, better nutrition and develop their agricultural and industrial infrastructures? Ah, but we have something better to offer: vaccinations and free condoms!^[16]cf. The Pandemic of Control

I tell you brothers and sisters, this kind of hypocrisy is coming to an end. The collapse of America and the West is imminent. Three years ago, I wrote how we are Hanging by a Thread. That “thread” is about to break as the last strands of sanity begin to unravel. The times ahead will be both tumultuous and glorious. It’s Jesus Christ, not Satan, who is driving the bus. For those of us who have joined Our Lady’s Little Rabble, let us, at least, avoid falling into the snares of division, much less repeat the politically correct mantras of our day. Virtue-signalling is vastly different than having virtue. To go against the tide today is to increasingly meet hostility. So be it. We were born for these times. Let’s go out with a glorious bang by being the face of love and truth, even if it costs our lives. What awaits us is the crown of the glory.

For those who do pass through this Storm will come an Era of Peace in which the entire world will be one in Christ, when the swords will be beaten into ploughshares and the days of racial division will fade into memory. Then, at last, His Kingdom will come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Here it is foretold that His kingdom will have no limits, and will be enriched with justice and peace: “in his days shall justice spring up, and abundance of peace… And he shall rule from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth”… When once men recognize, both in private and in public life, that Christ is King, society will at last receive the great blessings of real liberty, well-ordered discipline, peace and harmony… for with the spread and the universal extent of the kingdom of Christ men will become more and more conscious of the link that binds them together, and thus many conflicts will be either prevented entirely or at least their bitterness will be diminished… The Catholic Church, which is the kingdom of Christ on earth, [is] destined to be spread among all men and all nations… —POPE PIUS XI, Quas Primas, n. 8, 19, 12; Dec. 11th, 1925

I couldn’t be any more black and white than that.
