The Tipping Point?

As I prayed with my ministry team before the Blessed Sacrament before our Novum night this past weekend, the Lord suddenly impressed on my soul that we have reached a tipping point in the world. Immediately following that “word”, I sensed Our Lady say: Do not be afraid.  

When I arrived at home that evening, I opened an email from our translator with one of the latest messages from Italian seer, Angela, from Zaro, Italy posted on their diocesan website. My eyes fell on the words:

Children, the hour of trial is near, but do not be afraid. —February 26, 2025

 

Of  the “hour”…

This may sound to some like the “same ole, same ole.” After all, did we not hear Our Lady say to Servant of God Fr. Stefano Gobbi in 1977: “…the whole Church is living through this hour of trial.” ^[1]To the Priests, Our Lady’s Beloved Sons, n. 123d So, is Our Lady contradicting herself? On the contrary, consider a pregnant mother whose water has broken and the first pangs of labor have begun. Is she wrong to say she is “in labor,” even if there are long hours between contractions? 

Often, Our Lord would say, “The hour is coming and already here…” ^[2]eg. John 4:23, 5:23 to indicate both metaphorical and literal realities to come. Consider St. John’s words:

Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that the antichrist was coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. Thus we know this is the last hour. (1 John 2:18)

So there is the “hour” of the general epoch in which we have been living since the Ascension of Christ; there is the “hour” of general apostasy, through which we have been passing; and now, there is coming the “hour” of the Great Storm — the “hour of trial” or what I call “hard labor” — to push us into the “Era of Peace.” It is of this last hour that Jesus seems to be speaking in His revelations to St. John: 

Because you have kept my word of patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial which is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:10)

This was echoed in messages to Sulema Gomez earlier this year that were just made public;^[3]Born in El Salvador in 1954 but living in Quebec, Canada, Sulema Gomez has been receiving messages attributed by her to Jesus and the Virgin Mary for many years, which came to wider attention with the publication of three volumes of locutions received between 2010 and 2013, entitled I have come to prepare you for this event: the Illumination of Conscience. The title is a reference to the coming “mini-judgment”, also known as the Warning, prophesied by a considerable number of mystics over several decades, foretelling a unique occurrence in the history of humanity when all people on earth (with the exception of small children) will see their spiritual state as God sees it.

One remarkable feature of Sulema’s often lengthy locutions is that she delivers them orally in fluent, literary French – a language which, outside of the ecstasies in which the messages are received, she can only speak to a rudimentary level.

After the publication of the third of these volumes, Sulema has continued to receive messages that are recorded by her husband Sabino (a former atheist who converted after a mystical experience in Medjugorje) but kept private. Since 2021, some locutions have nonetheless been made public on the internet by the specialist Swiss Francophone magazine Stella Maris and by Marcel and Christian Laflamme in Quebec.

The Catholic Church has so far made no formal pronouncement on Sulema’s messages, although she has been accompanied by priests who have prefaced her writings. Readers of contemporary private revelation will find many confirmations of material from other sources, with the overall eschatology being absolutely in line with the “prophetic consensus” of the most serious modern prophetic voices. she’s an El Salvadorian seer who presently lives in Québec, Canada. In messages that are a direct echo of those being given in Italy above, Our Lord allegedly says:

May peace be in your hearts throughout this year that has just begun, so that you may remain calm in the face of all the trials throughout the year. Whatever happens, keep the faith in order to live out these words: “hoping against hope.” (Rom 4:18)

Hope will be the golden key that will open your heart to hope for everything from God your Father: to listen to My words in the most difficult moments; to follow the “light” that the Holy Spirit will give you when you are surrounded by darkness, remaining within the “Mantle of My Mother” so as to be safe during this time of tribulation, keeping your hand in her hand. —January 3, 2025; see Dark Days are Coming Upon Humanity

Of this year, Our Lady allegedly said to Sulema:

You will experience an exceptional year of graces during the Jubilee Year (2025) — but also because of all the suffering that will envelop the entire earth following devastating natural disasters, illnesses, or the scourge of war. However, do not be afraid, you who have given my Son all the space in your lives so that He may grow within you, and who have accepted “out of love” to distance yourselves from that which can separate you from the love of God.^[4]cf. Revelation 18:4-5: “Then I heard another voice from heaven say: ‘Depart from her [Babylon], my people, so as not to take part in her sins and receive a share in her plagues, for her sins are piled up to the sky, and God remembers her crimes.” You will see how you will be protected during the year, which will be very difficult to live through. —January 11, 2025; see “An Exceptional Year of Graces“

 

The Great Storm: Bracing for Impact

Three central themes on The Now Word and the over 1800 writings here could be summarized as such: 

• The Church is facing her own Passion;^[5]“The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection.” —Catechism of the Catholic Church, n. 677. 

• The world is facing a Great Storm “like a hurricane” (see Brace for Impact). 

• After a “great purification,” the Church will enter her “resurrection”^[6]To Servant of God Fr. Stefano Gobbi, Our Lady said, “The more the Church must ascend Calvary, the more will it feel my help and my extraordinary presence. It must now enter into the precious moment of its redemptive passion, in preparation for its most beautiful rebirth.” —January 1, 1980, n. 191 or what the Church Fathers called a “Sabbath Rest” and the popes, an Era of Peace “as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matt 24:14).

The “now word” of a coming “Great Storm like a hurricane” that I heard the Lord speak in my heart around 2005, I would later learn, has appeared in the writings of several mystics. To the late Servant of God Fr. Stefano Gobbi, Our Lady said:

What a tremendous and now inevitable Storm is about to break upon poor humanity! —August 28, 1973

My mother’s Heart will be for you the place of your peace, while outside the most violent storm is raging… Here, you will be safe from every danger and, at the moment of the Storm, you will find your peace. —October 18, 1975; June 23, 1979

In the approved messages to Elizabeth Kindelmann, Our Lady said:

The elect souls will have to fight the Prince of Darkness. It will be a frightening storm — no, not a storm, but a hurricane devastating everything! He even wants to destroy the faith and confidence of the elect. I will always be beside you in the Storm that is now brewing. —approved by Cardinal Péter Erdö, primate of Hungary 

To Pedro Regis of Brazil, Our Lady said:

A Great Storm is approaching and many men and women will turn away from the Church of my Jesus. —November 21, 2023

To Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, Our Lord said:

…soon they will make war against the Church, and its greatest enemies will be its own children… My Heart is shredded with pain. In spite of all, I will let this Storm pass by, and the face of the earth and the churches be washed by the blood of the same ones who smeared and contaminated them. —March 7, 1915

This exact theme was echoed decades later by Our Lady to Edson Glauber:

A Great Storm will strike the Holy Church and many ministers of God will lose their faith in a terrible way, and they will be persecuted because of their own mistakes and disobedience towards God. —November 7th, 2020

In 2009, I wrote: “CHAOS is the name of this Storm.” In that light, consider what Our Lady said to Sulema this past February:

You are about to experience the greatest chaos on earth: economies will collapse rapidly, you will witness major revolts and [terrorist] attacks of all kinds. Nature has reserved some very great surprises for you, as all the elements have been unleashed… Courage, my children, the time of the great persecution of the Church is approaching. The Church will live through the painful days of her Passion, but remember that the power of death will not prevail over her.

Two months after that message, we see that America just endured devastating tornadoes in its “second windiest spring since 1940”; major volcanoes are beginning to pop off around the globe;^[7]eg. here and here civil unrest and discord is increasing, especially in the West, as ideological divides widen; it has long been known that “terrorist cells” have been planted in several countries, awaiting a “ground zero” day to act;^[8]see Rwanda’s Warning and persecution of Christians is spreading globally.^[9]eg. here, here, and here And that’s just recent headlines.

All these are the beginning of the labor pains. (Matthew 24:8)

As Our Lady said to Sulema: “Do not be discouraged when looking at all that is happening in the world at this time. We told you about it well in advance, but you did not take our words seriously. You will see how events will unfold one after the other.” ^[10]cf. here Sound familiar? The Lord said much the same thing to Jennifer:

For, as I have told you, when the earth begins to show signs of new life, mankind will be awakened. These events will come like boxcars on the tracks and will ripple all across this world. The seas are no longer calm and the mountains will awaken and the division will multiply. —April 4, 2005

Yes, we will see. Sulema’s alleged prophetic words, as other seers, will be put to the test as they are becoming increasingly specific: “This year.”  What is most important is that we heed the counsel of Our Lord and Lady, which is to remain faithful; to repent; to have recourse to the sacraments; to read the Word of God; and to stay close to Our Lady, especially through the Rosary.

Take advantage of the little time you have left to receive the mercy of God your Father, before it is too late, before the door is closed, after which you will seek it and you will not find it. —Jesus to Sulema, January 25, 2025

 

The Tipping Point

If we really are at the “tipping point”, then what we are about to pass through is the definitive breaking of the “Seven Seals of Revolution.” Of this trial, and what follows the Eye of the Storm, Jesus said:

…at that time there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will be. (Matthew 24:21)

It’s kind of a big deal — and why Our Lady has been appearing all over the world, preparing the Church for decades; why icons and statues have been miraculously weeping oil and even blood; why the nations are in turmoil and “rumors of war” abound;^[11]cf. Matt 24:6 why people are having visions and dreams alerting them to this “hour”;^[12]cf. Acts 2:17 why many people are suddenly “waking up” (and others sleeping); why nature is increasingly “groaning”^[13]cf. Rom 8:22 and the “signs of the times” multiplying… like boxcars, one after another.

And yet, Heaven repeatedly tells us that, if we are faithful, to be not afraid.

You who have responded to the Lord’s call, do not be afraid; maintain this intimacy with Him; let your life be prayer; do everything He tells you and you will be protected (Jan 4, 2025)… Do not be afraid: we are with you in these difficult hours (Feb 16, 2025). —Our Lady to Sulema
