When Politics Becomes Lethal

I have tried to avoid entering the realm of politics. But a recent headline on Drudge Report caught my attention. It is so over-the-top that I am compelled to comment:

I repeat, I have avoided politics as much as possible because the guiding principles of the Gospel and our allegiance to Jesus Christ supersede that of patriotism. Not that the two are opposed, but they should never be confused.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom does not belong to this world. If my kingdom did belong to this world, my attendants [would] be fighting to keep me from being handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my kingdom is not here.” (John 18:36)

First, let me pre-empt my comments in the interests of balance. I am a Canadian; I am not voting in the upcoming American election. My interests pertain more to what may be a prominent biblical role of America, as I outlined in Mystery Babylon. Hence, the collapse of America (and the West) would appear to be the fulfillment of St. John’s prophecy of the “fall of Babylon”, which ushers in the brief reign of the Antichrist. All of this I have explained with reference to the Church Fathers and Scripture in The Coming Collapse of America as well as The Fall of Mystery Babylon, The Agitators – Part I & II and elsewhere.

The Spirit of Nazi Germany?

Former President Donald J. Trump has been an immensely polarizing figure. His past has been marked by immoral behaviour and incendiary language; his short political career has generally lowered the standard of political debate; his ego is often front and center stage. As such, he has seemingly created as many enemies as he has followers. But a cursory review of his first four years as president and continuing campaigning signals a man who is far more interested in economics and running a country like a business than geopolitics. That said, he stalled or prevented wars and did more to defend life and religious freedom than any other American President in recent memory. That’s just a fact, whether you support him or not.

On the contrary, what we have witnessed over the past four years from “leftwing” politicians in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, the UK, and the United

States has been nothing short of a direct attack on democracy, life, and freedom. In fact, it is they who are actually employing the spirit of Nazi Germany with their depopulation agendas, lust for abortion, contraception, euthanasia, homosexuality, mass progaganda, forced medical experimentation and neo-communist ideologies. While “rightwing” politics has its share of flaws, it is no longer possible to ignore the darkness emerging from the radical left — no more than one could have ignored the rise of Communism, Nazism, and Socialism over the past century. We are no longer talking politics but precisely what St. John Paul II framed decades ago:

We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-church, between the Gospel and the anti-gospel, between Christ and the antichrist. This confrontation lies within the plans of divine Providence; it is a trial which the whole Church, and the Polish Church in particular, must take up. Indeed, a psychoanalysis of Hitler reveals a direct parallel to the type of leadership prevalent now in the Western World:

His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it. —Walter C. Today, we are being flat-out lied to on a daily basis. We have entered a global stage where Satan is acting through his ministers in full character:

By the envy of the devil, death came into the world: and they follow him that are of his side (Wis 2:24-25; Douay-Rheims)… You belong to your father the devil and you willingly carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks in character, because he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44)

Thus, “healthcare” has become “deathcare”; “national security” has become “national restrictions”; “vaccine passports” are really digital chains; “environmentalism” has become “economic decentralization”… and on and on, one lie after another. The scariest part is that a great many are believing the “big lie” and being drawn unknowingly into their own demise — yes, not unlike Nazi Germany:

With three assassination attempts already on Trump’s life, it’s clear that the rhetoric of leftwing politicians is more than just words — it is radicalizing a generation who seem to believe everything they hear is true — that Trump is Hitler, that global warming is ending the planet in two years, that no will survive unless their veins are pumped full of mRNA gene therapies, and that the Catholic Church is nothing but a pedophile ring. To what lengths will some of these radicalized people go, then, to stop the so-called “right”?

The Rise of the Beast

What many people may not realize is that the “leftwing” is, at the same time, using the system of the “rightwing” to achieve its ends. The use of war followed by corporate restructuring; the stock markets; the Big Banking system; the spread of “enlightened democracies” — these are systems largely developed and sustained

by the “right.” Hence, the Beast that emerges at the end of the era in St. John’s vision is really a composite of both communism and capitalism (see Capitalism and the Beast) — communism that uses capitalism like a harlot to achieve its end of total global dominance:

The ten horns that you saw and the beast will hate the harlot [American and the West]?; they will leave her desolate and naked; they will eat her flesh and consume her with fire. For God has put it into their minds to carry out his purpose and to make them come to an agreement to give their kingdom to the beast until the words of God are accomplished. The woman whom you saw represents the great city that has sovereignty over the kings of the earth. (Rev 17:16-18)

The seven heads indicate the various masonic lodges, which act everywhere in a subtle and dangerous way. This Black Beast has ten horns and, on the horns, ten crowns, which are signs of dominion and royalty. In otherwords, as Christians, our mandate is to stand with neither the “right” nor the “left” but with truth, wherever that is to be found. For it is the Truth — not politics — that will set us free.
